Unsigned Volume 2 is set to make a big impact on the London music scene. The compilation CD, featuring 22 up-and-coming artists / bands, will be available for free in Rough Trade record stores across London from 16th August 2024.
QH Sound's 'Unsigned' initiative is a series of compilation albums released exclusively on CD to help undiscovered musicians get their music heard by the people who matter most - industry professionals and businesses actively looking for new talent. Each 'Unsigned' compilation CD is distributed to record labels, publishers, radio stations, media outlets and record stores.
The first 'Unsigned Volume 1', released 12th April 2024, received an overwhelmingly positive response and helped launch the careers of several artists. QH Sound hopes 'Unsigned Volume 2' will have a similar impact, giving the featured musicians valuable exposure and feedback from industry experts.
The artists on Unsigned Volume 2 represent a wide range of genres including indie rock, hip hop, electronic, R&B, afro and soul. The CD gives them exposure that could help take their careers to the next level.
Rough Trade record stores will stock free copies of Unsigned Volume 2 for customers from the 16th of August 2024. The CDs will be available on a first come, first served basis. Customers are limited to two copies each to allow as many people as possible the chance to discover the new music.
Unsigned Volume 2 is an exciting snapshot of the next generation of musicians, featuring a wide range of genres and sounds all united by fresh creativity and a DIY ethos. For music fans, it's a great opportunity to discover the future stars, completely free of charge.
